Utah Clean Cities Coalition

Utah's Clean Cities Coalition is one of 85 coalitions around the country that's part of the U.S. Department of Energy's strategy to reduce America's dependence on imported foreign oil. We promote the following energy security strategies: alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs), low-fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid electric vehicles and idle reduction. Locally, alternative fuels include compressed natural gas, propane, and to a lesser degree, ethanol and biodiesel.

Utah Clean Cities Awarded 2011 Winter Initiative Outstanding Non-profit Award!

Care to Clear the Air awarded Utah Clean Cities with the Outstanding Non-Profit Winter Initiative Award! The award ceremony took place at the Gallivan Center, where families enjoyed free ice skating, pizza and hot chocolate. Care to Clear the Air has had numerous events this January promoting the use of public transportation. Thanks for this recognition!
